Getting ready to leave for Africa has been very different than preparing for all of our Haiti trips. We only have a tentative date to leave. So trying to think of everything that needs to be done here to go but not being sure exactly when???
I have hopefully cut and split the last of the firewood needed before we leave. Debbie and I are working on packing lists, trying to decide what we want and need to take and how to pack and fit it all in.
We are enjoying the fact that Beth is home for a few days on spring break from grad school. If things work out for our departure date we may have the chance to visit Scott one more time and watch him run in the St. Patrick's day race in DC.
As the time to leave get closer, Debbie and I both are aware of the increasing stress in our lives. We would appreciate all of your prayers
Thanks Don

The adventure begins
Hi All, I'm new to blogging.
Debbie and I are preparing to go to Tanzania, Africa to work for a water well drilling company. We thought this would be a good way to stay in touch with family and friends.
While we don't have an exact date to leave for Tanzania we expect it to be the weekend of the 15th of March. We are hoping to keep this updated on a regular basis.
We do have a couple of prayer requests:
That our 2000 ford ranger pickup would sell before we leave.
For all the details to come together for us.
Thanks
Don & Debbie
